Winemaker Kerry G. Damskey Notes: Palmeri’s 2004 Napa Valley Wild Boar labeled Syrah from Stagecoach Vineyard showcases the best this single vineyard designation has to offer, brilliant complexity, dark berry fruit, licorice, coffee and cigar box, with wafts of slightly savory aromas. Delicious. Purple black with a lovely youthful intensity, drawing you in with luscious New World boldness. This fruit forward mountain Syrah offers the invitingly seductive aromas found in Napa’s world class high elevation Syrah vineyards. The vineyards, planted on steep rocky slopes overlooking the panorama of Napa Valley have reached full maturity, showing the true pedigree of the clones and earth that make up the Terroirs of Stagecoach. Jan Krupp, friend and viticulturalist, prizes the steep southern exposure of Palmeri’s block, carefully leafing and pruning the vines to offer the greatest intensity.

Winemaker Kerry G. Damskey Notes: Deep and intense purple hues with a rim of red violet define the color of our 2004 Van Ness Vineyard Syrah. The aroma is inviting with hints of licorice, black cherry, violets and smoky anise. The palate has a smooth “attack” that is round and full. The flavors are powerfully framed by ripe tannins and lush Mountain Syrah fruit that are both lasting and brightly balanced.
2004 PALMERI STAGECOACH VINEYARD NAPA VALLEY CABERNET SAUVIGNON - SYRAH BLEND LIST $53.00 OUR PRICE $29.99

Blend: 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Syrah
Production: 255 cases
Winemaker Kerry G. Damskey Notes: Purple-black with a slight ruby hue in color, this wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Palmeri’s 2004 mountain grown Stagecoach Vineyard continues the tradition showing how well the marriage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah work together in this spirited and elegant blend. In the nose are aromas reticent of rye, coco powder and cedar cigar box collectively wrapped into one seductive profile. On the palate, there lies a taste of sweet black fruits, framed by smooth and gently-structured tannins. A Cabernet grip softly is moderated by the sweet fullness of wonderfully complex, mountain grown Stagecoach Vineyard Syrah. The wine finishes with a soundness and sense of well being.
2006 TR ELLIOTT "QUESTE" RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY PINOT NOIR OUR PRICE $38.00
Our good friend Ted Elliott is the man behind the great TR Elliott Pinots. Ted's been a longtime grower and winemaker including time with Sonoma Cutrer. The 2006 Queste is a cuvée of 22 barrels of wine, comprised of 15 barrels selected from the Hallberg Vineyard wine and 7 barrels selected from the O'Connell Vineyard wine. The color is a bright plum with some purplish hues on the rim of the glass. Aromas of cherries and dark rose are overlain with blackberry and figs. This is followed by the interplay of a seductive vanilla and sandalwood, white chocolate, and brown sugar, ending in hints of fennel and licorice spices. Dusty earth tones give way to game and mushroom. The palate moves between intense chocolate, dark cherries, and sweet cranberry with tea. There is nice concentration of flavors surrounded by broad tannins and a rich and full mouthfeel. Hints of cedar persist in its long sweet finish.
2006 TR ELLIOTT "THREE PLUMES" RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY PINOT NOIR OUR PRICE $38.00
TR Elliott Three Plumes Pinot Noir is a cuvée of 13 barrels of wine selected entirely from the Hallberg Vineyard. Dijon clones, a long, cool growing season and the Gold Ridge sandy loam soils are hallmark of the Hallberg Vineyard. The color is a very pretty translucent cherry red. The aroma opens with vanilla, holiday spices, ripe strawberry and other juicy bright red fruit, and is permeated with delicate floral notes. Hints of leather and terroir abound. This wine tastes of red berries and cinnamon. It has nice acidity, a medium weight and texture, and a refreshing finish with a hint of coffee and spice. The character is the delicate balance between terroir and fruit, between softness and firm tannins.
2006 TR ELLIOTT "BURGONET" RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY PINOT NOIR OUR PRICE $38.00
2006 Burgonet is a cuvée of 9 barrels of wine selected exclusively from our O'Connell Vineyard. The color is like a dark red jewel with clarity and depth. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry and dark cherry fruits mixed with enticing candied aromas lead to hints of cinnamon and violets. Red cherry and dark plum tastes linger as an earthy mushroom-filled sense of terroir leads to thyme-like spices. This wine has great structure, a soft but sure tannic backbone, framed by sweet oak.
