Honeysuckle, dry apricot and sweet floral aromas watercolor a landscape with enormous flavors. Dry pear, clover honey, limestone, ripe nectarine and mineral components balance rich acidity with a smooth dry mouthfeel. Pair with cheeses, and rich foods.

Winery Notes: "The History" of fine winemaking for the Trentadue family goes back several generations. Rich and complex wine expertly blended and aged for 20 months in French Oak barrels to bring out the best of the vintage.
2006 OWL RIDGE SONOMA COUNTY CABERNET SAUVIGNON OUR PRICE $13.99
SILVER MEDAL (We can't believe it didn't get a Gold)
Winemaker Joe Otos's Notes: This wine is predominantly from the Cloverdale Ranch in Alexander Valley with about 20% T.R. Passalacqua Vineyard Cabernet blended in to give it that classic Owl Ridge richness and style. The wine offers intense aromas of cassis, with hints of cedar, anise and cigar box. The wine has richness and depth, but with amazing approachability, which is what Owl Ridge aims for with the Sonoma County Cabernet. This is a wine that is very enjoyable as a young wine and was vinted for that purpose, but does have the structure and fruit to age for an additional 3-5 years.
