FROM BEUAJOLAIS, FRANCE...There is probably no better varietal than the Gamay Noir grape that works with Thanksgiving dinner. It can handle all of the richness of gravy, yet balanced enough to not over-take the white meat of Turkey. Also, perfect with cranberry!
Winery Notes: This wine comes from the Beaujolais region, named after the town of Beaujeu in western Beaujolais founded in the 10th century. It is the southernmost area of Burgundy north of Lyon. Vines that are 40 to 80 years old are selected from the best plots for this cuvée. The older the vine, the richer the wine. Beaujolais Villages Old Vines is a rich example of its native soil and of old vines.

BOUTIQUE SONOMA COAST PINOT NOIR....James MacPhail is one of Sonoma County's finest hand-crafted winemakers. We still remember drinking his wines at Ravenous in Healdsburg when they kept it hidden in the back. Since the 2002 vintage, the MacPhail wines have continued to become more and more intriguing. This Pinot is comprised of fruit grown on the Goodwin and Pratt vineyards in cool western Sonoma County. It won't over-power your turkey dinner.
