2008 AJELLO BIANCO SICILIA IGT OUR PRICE $12.99
WHITE blend of 70% Grillo, 30% Catarratto. The new vintage of this popular Sicilian white wine is back and better that ever! A wonderful blend of two indigenous varietals. No oak...aged 3 months in stainless steel. Straw yellow in color with green tints, broad aromatic impact with fruity nuances. Full and dry, underpinned by a fresh acidity. Serve with seafood, light fried dishes, salads or couscous.
2008 DONNAFUGATA "ANTHILIA" BIANCO SICILIA IGT OUR PRICE $14.99
WHITE blend Ansonica, Catarratto and other local white varietals. Crisp white wine with hints of peach and floral notes. The label displays the face of a woman, mysterious and fleeting, like the Elymian civilization. Anthilia is the name, given in the Roman period, to the city of Entella on the crest of the Rocca. Anthilia is also the name of a wine that is identified with the ancient territory where it originates. It is the first wine to have been conceived at Donnafugata and it remains today a special favorite of many admirers. Serve with lightly smoked fish, crustaceans, anchovies and introductory dishes. Excellent with tuna salad, eggplant rolls and stuffed mussels.

WHITE blend of Inzolia and Grecanico form the basis for the zesty, crisp Rami, a white whose refreshing, clean personality recalls Sicilia’s breezy, rocky coast. A delicious white wine with an unusually long finish, Rami holds a bouquet of white flowers and vanilla, a palate of berries and citrus fruits, and a charming acidity. Drinking now. One of the BEST Italian white wines in the store.
2008 NAFRO FRAPPATO ROSSO SICILIA IGT OUR PRICE $18.99
RED Certified Organic 100% Frappato. Frappato is a light ruby red with a fragrant and fruity bouquet. The taste of cherries and blackberries is enveloped by a slight spiciness. It's gentle tannins have a great personality and are well balance making it particularly recommended as a pairing with semi-aged cheeses and grilled fish.
2008 COLOSI NERO D'AVOLA SICILIA IGT OUR PRICE $14.99
RED 100% Nero D'Avola. There are a lot of pure Nero's coming into the US market, but this one stands ahead of the crowd. This is a great alternative wine to over-ripe Zin and Syrah. Wonderful with the BBQ Season upon us. Our friend Robert Parker gives this great praise year after year...

2008 PLANETA "LA SEGRETA" ROSSO SICILIA IGT OUR PRICE $11.99
RED blend of 50% Nero D'Avola, 25% Merlot, 20% Syrah, 5% Cabernet Franc. We know there are some non-indigenous grapes to Sicily in this blend, but it's a good wine and we like it. Not to mention a great value. Clean and fresh, with plum and citrus aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, with a hint of chocolate on the tight finish.
