2008 William Fevre Chile La Mission Chardonnay reg $8.99
This golden yellow Chardonnay 2009 is very fruity on the nose with cooked pear and membrillo with hints of key lime citris. It is very fresh, round and a touch salty in the mouth with a medium length. There is a lemon sherbot quality with a tough of creaminess. The wine exudes an invitation for another glass. It might best be matched with Prawns, or fish such as Sea Bass or Bacalado.
2009 Stonehead Reserve Sauvignon Blanc reg $9.99
White peaches, grapefruit, lemon and guabas on the nose; fresh, complex and juicy palate. Pair with seafood, fresh fish, and white lean meat.
2008 WIlliam Fevre Chile La Mission Pinot Noir reg $11.99
The La Misión Reserva Pinot Noir 2009 presents a nice ruby color. Behind its characteristic nose of cherry and strawberries it reveals a hint of mineral notes and a slightly spicy finish. In the palate, the attack is subtle, with a restrained but sufficient tannin structure, a refreshing acidity and a good persistence of aromas. This is an elegant and refined wine.
2009 Viu Manent Secreto Carmenere reg $9.99
Intensely violet in colour this wine exhibits an opulent nose of black cherry, mocha and fragrant herbs. In the mouth flavours of boysenberry and bittersweet chocolate predominate accompanied by ample leather, tar and wild mushrooms. This is backed up by firm yet voluptuous tannins leading to a long, rich finish.
